Android 12 Preview 2: Changelog
With Android 12, Google is aiming big at improving security and safety. Preview 2 is the next step at that. App developers can now ask users to authenticate for tasks right from the lock screen.
Next on the list are the changes that will make the entire operating system more polished and sleek to use.
A new API has also been added to the OS, which will allow developers to optimise their apps for rounded corners smartphones.
A new better and smooth resizing animations and transitions are also a part of the Android 12 Preview 2.
Apart from this, there are several other minor improvements coming to Android 12 over Android 11.
According to a report by Android Authority, Google is expected to get a stable version for Android 12 by August this year. However, considering the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the official announcement might get delayed a bit.
It is also expected that Google might also push the beta preview rollout for Android 12 by a margin. Those unaware, the company released the beta for Android 11 back in June last year.
