Casio has launched its G-shock DWE-5600KS range of colourful and waterproof watches in India. Priced at Rs 13,995, the watches from the G-shock DWE-5600KS range have been designed in collaboration with creative director Kashiwa Sato. From straight blue and white lines on a vivid red watch face to interchangeable bands and bezels of clear, orange, and green semi-transparent material, watch owners can create 27 different design combinations by switching the bands and bezels. When the backlight is activated, Kashiwa Sato’s initial “K” appears. The new G-Shock DWE-5600KS collection is available at casioindiashop.com.

First introduced in 1983, Casio G Shock watches are a set of watches made to survive the toughest of conditions be it on land, water or air, claims the company. As per Casio, the watches were originally developed as shock-resistant digital wrist watch for men. Some of the current models include atomic clock synchronisation and tough solar technology while many new models come with metallic bands made up of either steel or titanium. The timekeeping is also either a mix of analog and digital, purely analog, or purely digital.

Designed primarily for people involved in the military, adventure sports and other outdoor-centric activities, the G-shock wristwatches come with features such as GPS, thermometer, barometer, stopwatch feature, electroluminescent backlight, countdown timer and water-resistance of 200 metres.
