Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most awaited games of this year with the launch date fast approaching. The action-adventure open-world game by CD Projekt Red, the makers of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, will arrive on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Stadia on December 10, 2020. The game will also launch on the next-gen consoles: PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. If you plan to play the game on your PC and get lost in the world of the Night City, here are the minimum and recommended system requirements that your computer needs to run the game.
OS
The recommended operating system for the PC gamers is 64-bit Microsoft Windows 10 but the game can also be played on 64-bit Windows 7 OS, in case someone has still not upgraded to Windows 10.
Processor
As for the processor, the recommended processor to play the game is Intel Core-i7 4790 or AMD Ryzen 3 3200G. As for the minimum processor required, it should be either Intel Core-i5 3570K or AMD FX 8310.
Graphics card
Nvidia GTX 780 and Radeon RX 470 are the minimum graphics card you need to run the game. The recommended graphics cards are GTX 1060 6GB/ GTX 1660 Super/ Radeon RX 590.
RAM and VRAM
The minimum RAM required to run the game is 8GB. CD Projekt Red recommends 12GB RAM or higher for Cyberpunk 2077. The minimum VRAM should be 3GB. Recommended VRAM is 6GB.
Resolution and GFX settings
The minimum resolution required to run the game is 1080p or full HD (1920 x 1080p), with the GFX settings as Low. Recommended settings are 1080p and High.
Storage
The game requires a minimum of 70GB free storage space on the HDD/SSD. Using an SSD is recommended by the developers.
