OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro starts receiving new OxygenOS update, brings December 2021 security patch, bug fixes and more

OnePlus has started rolling out a new update for OnePlus 8 and OnePlus Pro smartphones. The update brings OxygenOS version 11.0.10.10 to these devices along with December 2021 security updates, bug fixes and improvements. The update is now rolling out to both smartphones via Over-the-Air (OTA) update. Users who haven’t received the update notification as of now can also check for it manually by heading to the Settings of the smartphone. It is also important to note that the update is being rolled out in a phased manner and it might take a while to reach all OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro users.

OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro update: Changelog
Both the smartphones have received similar changes and updates with the latest OxygenOS update. It brings user interface optimisation for Settings, December 2021 security patch and more.

The update is also expected to address the WhatsApp crash issue being faced by OnePlus 8 series smartphones. Apart from that the update also addresses Google Assistant and Google Pay issues where both the apps weren’t visible in the Setup Wizard.

OnePlus has recently started updating its latest OnePlus 9 series smartphones with the latest Android 12 operating system.
