“After careful testing and verification, we’re releasing a new Developer Preview for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. This new version is a hotfix build that fixes the issue that caused the original version to get stuck during Factory Reset Protection (FRP) check,” said the company in a forum post.
Along with announcing the new beta firmware, OnePlus has also listed the known issues with the firmware. Below is a list.
* All data will be cleared while flashing the build.
* The video call function is not available.

* Certain UI screens look less than desirable.
* Some apps may not function as expected.

The company has further cautioned those who may want to install the update that they still have a risk of bricking their phone and they should “read the instructions carefully and be 100% sure of what you are doing.”
While updating their phones, users need to ensure that their OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro handsets are at above 30% battery level and have a minimum 3GB of storage space is available.
