Oppo F11 Pro starts receiving Android 11 update in India

NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Oppo has started rolling out Android 11 update for Oppo F11 Pro smartphone in India. The company confirmed the Android roll out via its Twitter handle.
The company tweeted, “The official version of ColorOS 11 based on Android 11 update for OPPO F11 Pro in India has been released. Please go to Settings > Software update to get the update. Thanks!”

The update weighs 2.81GB in size and it is the second major software update for the device. The smartphone was launched in 2019 with Android 9.0 Pie operating system out-of-the box and it received Android 10 update last year.
With the Android 11 update, the Oppo F11 Pro users will be able to experience features like default screen recorder, better media controller, native smart home control, one-time permission to apps, security fixes via Google Play and others.
Recently, Oppo rolled out Android 11 update for its Reno2 Z smartphone in India. As per the company’s Android 11 roadmap, Oppo Reno 2 will be the next smartphone in line to receive the Android 11 update. The company will be rolling out the update in India, Malaysia, Thailand, Pakistan, Myanmar, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia and the Philippines.
Last week, Oppo launched its affordable 5G smartphone in India — Oppo A74 5G. Priced at Rs 17,990, the smartphone comes with a FHD+ display and is powered by Qualcomm processor. The smartphone sports a triple rear camera and packs 5000 mAh battery. It also comes with a multi-cooling system.
