Apart from this, the company has also created a microsite on mi.com which also talks about the upcoming launch. The microsite confirms that the smartphone will come with a 48MP camera and will also support fast charging. It is expected that the company might launch the smartphone on December 15.
Recently, Redmi 9 Power was also spotted on the Google Play Console with the same model number as the Redmi Note 9 4G. So, it is possible that the Redmi 9 Power is the rebranded version of the Redmi Note 9 4G.
Redmi 9 Power expected specifications
The Redmi 9 Power is said to come with a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2340 pixel resolution. The smartphone is expected to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor.
The handset is said to pack 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. The smartphone is expected to run Android 10 operating system topped with MIUI 12.
The smartphone is said to come with a triple-rear camera setup with 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and 2MP depth sensor. The front is said to house an 8MP selfie shooter. Redmi 9 Power is expected to house a 6000mAh battery.
