Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Jio has added 2.34 lakh subscribers in Delhi-NCR region in July 2020.
For the period ended July 220, the telecom company has a total of 1.86 crore subscribers in the area, capturing a 35.70% market share, as per the latest subscriber data released by Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
Recently, Reliance Jio announced a new facility for the new users of its recently announced service called, JioPostPaid Plus.
This means that the telecom company will now allow postpaid users from other telecom operators to carry-forward their credit limit feature, allowing them to have the same credit limit as they had from their previous telecom operator.
Jio claims that it will give this facility to upcoming users without any down payment.
For those unaware, Reliance Jio announced JioPostPaid Plus in September with five new plans for postpaid users in India. The plans priced at Rs Rs 399, Rs 599, Rs 799, Rs 999 and Rs 1,499 come with subscriptions for OTT platforms.
