Samsung has announced a new fitness tracker, Galaxy Fit2. It’s slim, lightweight design and claims a long-lasting battery. The Samsung Galaxy Fit2 has a 1.1-inch AMOLED display with a 3D curved glass. There are over 70 downloadable watch faces to personalise the function and look of the Galaxy Fit2 display.
Samsung Galaxy Fit2 is priced at Rs 3999 and is available in two colours- Black and Scarlet. Buyers can buy it across Samsung.com, select offline retail stores and Amazon.in starting October 16.
The front touch key for wake-up, home and cancel enables easy navigation that allows preset replies to notifications and setting up of 12 dedicated widgets at a time. Galaxy Fit2 has an indented strap that keeps sweat from collecting. Weighing 21 grams, the Galaxy Fit2 boasts of a long-lasting battery of 159mAh .It can track daily activities,sleep for up to 15 days on a single charge. With a typical minimized day-only usage, users can get up to 21 days on a single charge, claims Samsung
Galaxy Fit2 tracks five automatic workouts and up to 90 workouts with presetting from the Samsung Health library. Additionally, the music controller gives you quick access to music. It offers a sleep Score that analyses the sleep pattern through four stages of sleep- Awake, REM, Light and Deep, sharing insights that help users rest better and get more out of their day.
The new Hand Wash feature reminds users to practice healthy habits of washing hands with a periodic alarm and timer. Stress Tracking keeps a check on stress levels through the day and suggests a breathing guide in case of high stress moments.
Galaxy Fit2 comes with a 5ATM rating (50m water resistance) and its Water Lock mode allows Galaxy Fit2 users to swim. It also prevents accidental activation while swimming by locking the front key.
