Samsung has been rumoured to be working on its new flagship tablets. Recently, the upcoming flagship tablets have surfaced online on a South Korean news website.
The leak suggests that this year Samsung might launch three models — Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S8+ and Galaxy Tab S8 codenamed as Basquiat 1, Basquiat 2, and Basquiat 3, respectively.
Apart from this, the leak also reveals the key specifications of the devices.
According to the report, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is expected to feature a massive 14.6-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and in-display fingerprint scanner, dual 8MP + 5MP front camera and 12000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
The tab is expected to come in three variants — Wi-Fi, LTE and 5G reportedly priced at KRW 1,469,000 (approximately Rs 95,476), KRW 1,569,000 ( approximately Rs 1,01,975), and KRW 1,669,000 (approximately Rs 1,08,475) respectively.
The Galaxy Tab S8+ and Galaxy Tab S8 will reportedly share most of the features. The Galaxy Tab S8+ is expected to boast a 12.4-inch 120Hz OLED panel. The Galaxy Tab S8 will come with an 11-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate.
Both come with an in-screen fingerprint sensor, an 8-megapixel front camera, a 10090mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
The Galaxy Tab S8+ is expected to start at KRW 1,149,000 (approximately Rs 74,679) and it will be available with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The expected price of the Galaxy Tab S8 starts at KRW 829,000 (approximately Rs 53,880).
