On the right side of the device can be seen two buttons. One of them has the OnePlus name engraved on it. The smartwatch can be seen sporting a Black rubber band. But it is likely that there will be other colour band options as well.
Design wise, OnePlus Watch resembles the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active. Whether it is intentional or not, it is yet not clear.
The upcoming smartwatch has also been teased on OnePlus social media platforms. Company’s CEO Pete Lau has shared a two-second video clip on Twitter, which hints at IP68 water resistance.
In a forum post announcing the launch date of the smartwatch, he said that the device will not run on Google’ WearOS. Instead, it will come with an RTOS-based operating system.
He also said that the OnePlus Watch will carry an affordable price tag. The smartwatch will offer “best-in-class experience at an affordable price point,” he wrote in the post.
In another post on Twitter, OnePlus has revealed that the smartwatch will be equipped with a heart-rate monitor, steps count and more.
